Antibiotic journalism, the bad and the good

Two responses to the G8 ministers' communication on the threat of antibiotic resistance:

  1. Hysteria and hyperbole reading like bad science fiction from the Sunday Times
  2. A very smart, skeptical and informed interview of Sally Davies, the UK Chief Medical Officer by Geoffrey Carr of the Economist. Killer question: "Is there any way that doctors can be induced to behave more sensibly?" (at about 7:10). Dame Sally's response was suitably diplomatic.
